When she was researching doctors, unsure who to trust, I told her I would choose the one who's writing papers about his field, because that shows an open mind and a dedication to finding answers and to constantly improving the health of his patients. The work he did for her showed that to be true, and when I had to see a periodontist, I knew I would choose Dr. Haghighat. The time he took with me in my first appointment to thoroughly investigate the issue and explain it to me so that I understood made me feel so much lighter about something that had been weighing on me for months. That consultation, and the helpful answers I got from his office staff, Kendra and Mallory, every time I called about scheduling, financing, and pre-op, helped me go into the surgery with a much calmer mindset. The extraction and implant done by Dr. Haghighat and his wonderful assistant, Bri, resulted in very minimal swelling and pain and is healing up nicely! I couldn't be more relieved to have trusted my health with Dr. Haghighat and the helpful, knowledgeable people assisting him. I would recommend anyone do the same. (Apologies if I misspelled any names!)" - [Kris K.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/kris-k/): 5-8-2026  "Dr. Haghighat and his team did a fantastic job with my implants. I hope I will not need another implant, but I know that I will turn to Dr Haghighat and his team if I should." - [Diane F.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/diane-f-2/): 1-22-2025 "Perio cleaning and maintenance is excellent." - [Eric S.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/5014/): 1-07-2025 "Wonderful staff!" - [D. L.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/d-l/): 9-08-2024. "I had battled teeth issues my whole life. It was hard for me to pick a doctor to have my final Implants done. I made a great decision with Dr. Kamran. He put together a plan and we started moving forward. As things progressed he made little changes here and there to better move towards our goal. His attention to detail was very much appreciated. I required a number of procedures involving grafting and extractions. Each step of the way he made sure I had temporaries so I could still look good and function. My new teeth look great and are very functional. After living my whole life with some kind of a flaw in my smile, I believe I smile a whole lot more now. Couldn't be happier." - [Don F.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/don-f/): 02-18-2024 "OK I waited two years after I had my surgery to give my review. The reason I did this is I feel like it would be a really good honest review now that time has passed. My implants have been solidly in my jawline for a year and here’s my review, so let me start first of all. I have been been to different oral surgeons for the past 25 years and some oral surgeons have said nope I’m not gonna do this you don’t have the right jaw bone to do this. A little backstory about myself is that I was born without a lot of permanent teeth and my bottom was missing five teeth and never came in so my jawbone was really small and yeah, I had a Chiclets smile I would say. You might be able to look on my photo and see what it looks like. But I decided to have the surgery and I sat down with Dr. Haghighat and he was confident he could do it. I liked his staff and I decided to go for it. Well I got the surgery done in one day so I have nine implants I believe that’s the final count. As a patient I would like to say that it’s 10% Dr. Haghighat and his staff and 90% you, so you have to follow his instructions to the T. I was on a liquid diet for nine months did everything that they said in the packet. Right after surgery ice every 20 minutes And I will tell you my surgery was successful. I’m really really happy with the results. I said it’s been two years and I had a pretty major surgery because I had so many implants all done at once in the bottom jaw, and the top jaw. The one thing I was worried about is that I’d walk out after having the surgery and everybody would know that those teeth are fake too white, but Dr. Haghighat is an artist. I will tell you, people that I haven’t seen in years it takes a minute for them to realize there's something different about me and the beauty of it is that he makes it looks so original that you’re not gonna be one of those people that is walking around with a super fake smile with these super white teeth. He really tries really hard to make sure that it fits your persona. He did an amazing job like I said it’s been two years after the fact and I have no pain. I floss and I do all of his instructions because remember when you get these implants you’re making an investment in yourself. That’s why I follow the flossing and getting my teeth cleaned regularly. I will tell you I’ve never been happier. Honestly I have never even been able to bite fully into a burrito in my whole life and that’s the truth because I only had three teeth on the top and nothing on the bottom. If you’re gonna make this investment go for it, he’s a great surgeon. He cares! He is an artist. His staff is absolutely top-notch they care, and out of all of the oral surgeons that I’ve seen he was the one that I felt had the most confidence he knew what he was doing and he did an amazing job. I can’t say enough great things about him and his staff." - [Megan H.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/megan-h/): 02-09-2024 "I had a great experience getting a bone graft and zirconia implant from Dr. Haghighat. The procedure went well with no problems. Dr. H is a pro and his whole crew took great care of me." - [Sara G.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/sara-g/): 4-17-2023 "I've been very happy with my experience with Dr. Haghighat! The whole team is friendly and professional. I felt very well taken care of. I had an awful experience with another provider before finding Dr. Haghighat and this only made me more grateful for the quality of treatment I received here." - [Susan H.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/susan-h/): 3-2-2023 "Dr. Haghighat performed tissue grafting over my lower teeth February 2023 and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. He was able to perform the procedure within weeks of my initial consult. Dr. Haghighat is obviously extremely skilled and knowledgeable. The procedure itself seemed quick and painless. The outcome is excellent. The roots of my teeth are now well covered and protected. I am also very pleased with how it looks from the cosmetic standpoint. Finally, I love Dr. Haghighat's office staff. They are friendly and offer their patients personal and professional attention. 5 out of 5 stars across the board." - [Barbara S.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/barbara-s/): 10-10-2022. "Let me preface this - I have a little-understood health condition which makes it difficult for me to trust providers. And, I've lost teeth which happened after rushed/sloppy dental work. So, I tend to need more information which annoy even the most patient doctor. - [Cherie C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/cherie-c/): 8-31-2022 "Dr. Haghighat and his team are the best! I've had 3 implants done and they are absolutely perfect - it's impossible to tell that they are not my natural teeth. In addition, they have been able to restore my gums back to health which I never knew was possible and I no longer fear going to a dentist. They listened to my concerns, communicated every step of the process and helped me feel at ease with every visit, as well as always making me feel like I am their favorite patient, though truth be told, I am certain that's how the staff make every patient feel - they are just that good at what they do! I would, without reservation, highly recommend Portland Perio Implant Center if you are in need of any restorative dental work and want to get back your confident, beautiful smile!" - [Cheryl W.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/cheryl-w/): 7-21-2022  "I want your office to know that it is a +Ten. I had a difficult situation with my front tooth as it was infected, with bone loss & I wanted an implant vs. a bridge. I saw two specialists that did not feel an implant would be successful. For me finding Dr. Kamran Haghighat was a godsend. Not only did I have complete confidence in his professional abilities but also with all his office personnel. My experience was definitely a +10 and if anyone should ask me for a recommendation, it would certainly be your office. All the very best, Cheryl" - [Tom C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/tom-c/): 6-11-22   "Dr. Haghighat is a great periodontist. He has performed three implants on me and I would not go to anyone else. He is well qualified and professional and I trust him explicitly. His medical assistants are knowledgeable and courteous. His front office manager knows the business like the back of her hand. I cannot imagine that there’s a better implant practice anywhere." - [David B.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/david-b/): 6-10-2022   "My experience was very good. They made me feel at ease, provided complete a complete explanation of the procedures, and answered all my questions satisfactorily." - [Michael S.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/michael-s/): 6-3-2022  "After knocking out one of my front teeth I had the tooth removed, graft placed, and implant done all in one visit. It's clear Dr. Haghighat is an expert provider and so great at what he does. He even came in during his ski vacation to do the procedure which shows his dedication to his patients. That was about 10 years ago and my dental implant feels healthy and I barely notice it anymore. It feels like I never lost my tooth in the first place which is amazing. I highly recommend this practice!" - [Emily S.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/emily-s/): 5-17-2022  "So happy with my implant! This office is wonderful all staff are kind. The doctor is friendly and professional! (I came as a blank slate as I had no front tooth with bone grafting healing from another surgeon in VA). Highly recommend." - [Ann C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/ann-c/): 5-12-2022 "The best thing I've ever done for myself was make the appointment to see Dr. H. and his team. First and foremost, I HATE going to the dentist. I'd rather be in labor with twins than have work done on my teeth. I had previous dental work that was falling apart due to age. I had several lower back teeth that had been removed years prior by another dentist. As a result I was experiencing severe bone loss in my jaw. I knew nothing about the surgery or procedures having to do with dental implants. I looked online in the Portland area for someone to see and out of pure luck I picked Dr. H's office. From the moment I walked in his staff was friendly and very kind and my anxiety went from a 10 to about a 5 immediately. Then after my surgery, my anxiety was gone. My aftercare was impeccable. Anytime I had an issue they were able to fit me in within a day to fix whatever problem I had. It's been about 18 months since my surgery and I have the beautiful smile I've always wanted. It's made such a HUGE improvement in my life in so many ways. I have gained confidence and self-esteem I thought I had lost forever. AND, no more pain at all anywhere. He also did an amazing job on the bone grafting part of the surgery and fixed my bone loss issue. Dr. H. is a perfectionist at his craft and his vision of my new smile was spot on. As much as I try, I cannot articulate with words how happy I am with him and his staff. Their work and experience has improved my life so much...I will be forever grateful. And now, I love going to the dentist because I get to see THEM, whom I consider my friends. I HIGHLY recommend Portland Perio Implant Center. It's the only place I trust and I'll continue to go there until Dr. H. retires. They are truly the BEST!" - [Jessica J.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/jessica-j/): 4-6-2022 "Dr. Haghighat has a beautiful office and great staff! He does a great job explaining treatment and answering questions. He’s professional and kind. I highly recommend his office!!" - [Elisa C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/elisa-c/): 3-10-2022  "One picture is worth a thousand words. The happiness of a grandmother able to smile again is a great gift. I would like to mention how important was the moral support that I received from Dr. El-Ebrashi , a colleague of Dr. Haghighat, and his support staff, especially Molli. My brother heard about Portland Perio Implant Center via my son on Orcas Island, and finally decided to approve my implant surgery there. Portland Perio and Dr. Haghighat helped me keep hope alive during the terrible years of trying to get reimbursed for the mini implants. I have mentioned before that your compassion and charisma and the support of Melissa, during the Covid epidemic was so important to me during my treatment at PPIC. I do not want to leave out the new assistant, Jen, and the hygienist, who were so helpful with important health information in caring for my implants. I had to shorten the post, but I hope by sending the pictures, I can get the message across to others in need of your help. As I have told you before, you have been an inspiration to me in more ways than you know." - [Robin C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/robin-c/): 1-27-2022 "Love this dental office! From my first call to last visit I was treated like family. Dani has such a gift of remembering people’s names and conversations from visit to visit! Very kind and professional dental assistants/technicians. Doctor is kind and gentle and does an absolutely beautiful job!! I definitely recommend this office. You will not be disappointed!" - [M T](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/m-t/): 11-6-2021 "I had many cavities as a child mostly due to thin tooth enamel, followed by root canals and crowns into my early twenties. By age 50 the crowns needed replacement and/or tooth extractions which continued in my 60's. At age 71 with still more failing crowns I decided to stop the endless cycle of crown, re-crown, extractions and remaking the partial dentures. My teeth had become dark and mismatched over the years with sensitive nerve endings. - [Adriana R.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/adriana-r/): 10-14-2021 "I had a great experience with Dr. Haghighat! Although a bit pricy (as all dental care is!), I felt that I received high-quality care I would not have received elsewhere. Getting an implant is a daunting process, however, Dr. Haghighat and Jennifer made sure I was comfortable and informed the whole time. I fully trusted their ability to care for me and my teeth and I would return to their office if needed in the future. I’d say, if you have any doubts just direct yourself to their website - it's a treasure trove of information!" - [Marie L.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/marie-l/): 10/4/2021 "I am so happy that I finally made the decision to get dental implants. For years I battled with periodontal disease and when I came to Dr. H my mouth was in bad shape. I was in pain every day which was having an impact on what and how I ate as well as my self-confidence. I hated to smile anymore. I am glad I choose Dr. H to help me with my teeth. I felt welcomed by him and his staff. Dani is the best! She is very patient and is so nice! I never felt judged by them, only felt the want and desire to help me get a new, better smile and a healthier mouth. I am pain-free now and have a brand new smile. Thank you Portland Perio Implant Center for bringing back my self-confidence and making me want to smile again!" - [Doug T.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/doug-t/): 9-3-2021 "Very good customer service from Danni, Jen, and Dr. H." - [Denise H.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/denise-h/): 8-12-21 "Never having an implant before, I was very nervous. My dentist sent me to a local oral surgeon, I just didn’t feel comfortable with his plan of doing 2 implants. I looked on the web and found Portland Perio Implant Center, Dr H. Good reviews and he has done a lot of implants. I am very happy I went to him. We are just finishing the process. It was a difficult 2 implants, (but) he was confident they would be ok and I am so happy I went to him. I would definitely recommend him." - [Karen D.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/karen-d/): 8-4-2021 "I am so thankful to have found this clinic. Dr. Haghighat is amazing at what he does and I have had four front upper teeth replaced with implants. He is meticulous with his craft and does great work. I also receive periodontal cleaning and care on a routine basis. His staff are also amazing. They are knowledgeable, thorough, and very kind. This is a fabulous clinic." - [Maud D.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/maud-d/): 7-26-2021 "Absolutely recommend. Prompt communication, up front about costs and timelines, friendly, and meticulous work. I've had a lot of anxiety about this process and Dr. Haghighat was able to explain everything in a way I understood and anticipated future appointments with realistic expectations (while also exceeding expectations). I ultimately decided to come here based on reviews and I was not disappointed." - [Jessica M.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/jessica-m/): 7-9-2021 "Great experience so far! The team here is amazing! They are prompt & have made this implant experience better than anticipated." - [Jane B.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/jane-b/): 7-6-21 "Super quick, easy, and professional. I felt like I was in great hands for my gum surgery. The staff is great!" - [Ellie T.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/ellie-t/): 6-17-21 "Dr. Haghighat and team are exceptional at their craft, as well as their customer service and good old-fashioned bedside manner. I had major gum surgery earlier this year and could not be more grateful for the incredible care and level of expertise. My grafts took very well and I have had 0 complications. A few days after surgery I had some concern over a potential side effect, and Dr. Haghighat made time within that same day to see me for a check-up (everything was fine). They made me feel welcome and at ease every time I walked in the door, to the degree that I'll actually miss seeing them (Dani in particular)! Would recommend." - [Marcia T.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/marcia-t/): 5-14-21 "This was my first introduction to implants and the staff and Dr. were very informative about all of the steps and procedures to complete the process. The staff was patient and responsive to my questions. I was very well educated. Should I need any further treatment, I will return to Portland Perio Implant Center." - [Tom M.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/tom-m/): 4-24-2021 "Outstanding professional friendly people. The entire process was flawless, as well as painless. They clearly laid out what to expect which helped relieve my anxiety. What a great team! I highly recommend going to Portland Perio." - [Steven M.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/steven-m/): 4-13-2021 "Dr. Haghighat and staff were very focused on my potential health exposure to Covid as well as my periodontal concern. They were professional and courteous and explained the process to me such I understood what was involved and the timeline to recovery. I would definitely recommend the Portland Perio Implant Center for anyone that has a periodontal or implant concerns." - [Martha D.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/martha-d/): 4-7-2021 "Dr. Haghighat and team have taken excellent care of me for several years now. Following some traumatic experiences with other facilities, the Portland Perio crew performed the procedure I required with sensitivity to my anxieties and has been a crucial care partner since, leading with heart and humor, and making typically dreaded experiences actually enjoyable. In addition to the outstanding clinical service, Dani at the front-of-house has regularly extended extra support, like when she found me a compassionate dentist that fit my needs and coordinated care seamlessly between the two provider offices. If you have to have people up in your mouth, these aren't just the people you want - they are the people you need. 10/10 recommend." - [Bob N.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/bob-n/): 3/31/21 "This dental implant was my first. Not knowing what to expect, my primary dentist said Portland Perio was the best. Still with that recommendation I was a little uneasy. Now that the procedure is almost done, I can't say enough GREAT things for the entire team. Office mgr. Dani gave me guidance the entire way with cost, expectations and always pleasant. Dr. Haghighat was fabulous. No pain whatsoever, his professionalism was extended to me the entire process." - [Ami C.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/ami-c/): 3/29/21 "I can't say enough to even begin to praise Dr. H. and his staff. I had some medical issues years back that ended up causing my teeth to pretty break off and fall apart. I was getting very self-conscious about it so I decided to start looking around. They were not my first choice. After I had gotten a second opinion from them I didn't even return to the place I had scheduled prior. Hands down to making every step thru this journey amazing and non judgmental ever! He is very very much a perfectionist which was great because he saw things I did not after my implants were being made and I appreciate him for that greatly. Dani and Melissa his staff are amazing people and very personable which is very much appreciated in these days we live. They really treat you like friends or family and me not being a big fan of any doctor and dreading even going to appointments, I actually enjoyed seeing them because of how comfortable they make you feel. If you have desire to do implants or any dental you seriously need to come here first you will definitely not go anywhere else." - [Charlynn M.](https://portlandperioimplantcenter.com/reviews/charlynn-m/): 3/28/21 "I have had several implants. This by far has been the best experience! I need 2 more implants and will definitely have them done here. After my extraction and implant, I required only ibuprofen, no oxycodone. After three days of ibuprofen, I didn't even feel I underwent these procedures. Dr. Haghighat and staff are the BEST!"
